Just came back from 2Peace, it is amazing how they can spoil my day early in the morning. Yet I still ironically look forward to going to class and teaching them, just really hope someday (hopefully by this week) they will stop all their crap.

It's gonna be my last week in school come monday and I'll def miss all you guys. All the crap you put me through, the screamings and shouting in class, how you guys try to irritate me, and how you girls would run up to me and hug me even though it is not my last day in school (think trisha, grace, peishan. puiyee....) :)

I became a team building instructor to 1Praise too, this silly but meaningful game even got Hisham (a naughty boy) to keep quiet and look in adoration (haha!) and request to join in even though it was not his group of friends. :)

When kids have to learn, we have to teach. And when teaching does not help we have to employ harsher measures. We all do agree and understand don't we. Yet all people know to say is, Biased lah, Cher.

Looks like a teacher has another portfolio to hold: A nanny, a naggy one at that.

I just counselled a student on BGR how cool can that be, bringing my own values and morals into the school. But it was really nice to see him respond after me talking to him, i hope what i ve said would stay in his mind!

PS: I've bought like 3bento meals this week, see how much i support all of you!

When I came back from my NUS interview just now, about 10 of them from 2 peace just surrounded me and passed me a poem that Gabriel Li wrote in class when I wasnt in class. It was all in quite cheeem chinese so i got zi rui to translate for me, so funny. We all had a good laugh over it but ultimately it really brings joy to see that they actually enjoy my lessons and it was nice to see them, real. Like how i told HoJun it was the first time I saw him talk so much. :)

I have been so super busy the past few days to be able to blog. Marking of your test scripts and writing all the comments on every of your papers (that saw me at starbucks and have dinner at foodcourt ALONE for 3days my goodness), pasting all the stickers on your scripts and chopping the date stamp (which gives me alot of joy in itself haha), going to classes and returning the scripts with my reflection talk and an analysis of your results in accordance.........


Conclusion (not your relationship between factors): Not easy to be a teacher man.....

Anyway on Wednesday I had lessons with all my classes and I told all of you tat next week would be my last week, like so sad right. But I was quite amused when some people were trying to hide their happiness when everyone went aww or something. But anyway I would miss all of you all your nonsense and crap you give me in class. :)

Made 2Joy 2Love and 2Faith write their reflections today because i feel that it is important to reflect after getting back your results which would help you think about where you have gone wrong or gone right in. Read all your reflections, was very sad when i see people sincerely write that they cannot study when the class keeps making the teacher stop and no one can learn as a result. I really hope this would change.

Confiscated phones from 2 Love and 2 Faith; your teacher here is not to be trifled with. Doesnt mean exam over means you can use your phones in class okay. It is ultimate direspect especially if I have asked you to keep it and the second time I still see it. Therefore I am not being unreasonable for keeping it.

And I realized Seventeen magazine is actually quite interesting! Was flipping through the one I onfiscated from 2Love and it was so trashy but funny, like all the BGR? Because one day we will all learn from experience, not magazines. But it was a good accompaniment for my hour long trip to NUS for the fashion cheap buys heehee.
